Afton-Lakeland Elementary
Our Afton-Lakeland PTA has partnered with our school to celebrate I LOVE to Read month in February. The school will focus on encouraging the love of reading with fun and engaging activities with a culminating Read-a-thon on March 1st; the PTA will support a fundraising opportunity. The PTA has set a goal of $20,000. All students are encouraged to engage in all our fun reading activities in and out of school as well as collect pledges for reading. Any participation in the fundraising drive is OPTIONAL. ALL students will be included in book drawings and fun activities regardless of whether they choose to fundraise or not, but they do need to READ!
