Join your BMPV community for the 5th Annual Read-A-Thon: If You Give A Kid A Book! During this month-long program, students set goals and participate in weekly activities all aimed at growing your love of reading. Students can also fundraise by getting pledges for minutes read and raising funds to support our school community. Unirse a nosotros y a la comunidad para el quinto annual maratón de lectura - Si tú dale un libro a un niño! Estudiantes establecen metas y participan en actividades semanales para hacer crecer nuestro amor por la lectura durante un mes. Como en el pasado, el tema es Si tú dale un libro a un niño! Los estudiantes también pueden recaudar fondos al obtener promesas de lectura de actas y recaudar fondos para apoyar a nuestra comunidad escolar.

While we can't be together for many of this year's events, we can still do something academic and pandemic friendly: READ! That’s right, we’re issuing a challenge to students. How many minutes can you read in a day? In a week? In a whole month? Let's see how many minutes you can read individually, with your family, teachers, pets - it all counts! And every minute matters! No podemos estar juntos para muchos de los eventos de este año, todavía podemos hacer algo académico y pandémico amistoso: ¡LEER! Correcto, tenemos un reto para los estudiantes. ¿Cuántos minutos podemos leer cada día? ¿en una semana? ¿en un mes? ¿Cuántos minutos pueden leer nuestros estudiantes individualmente, como familia, con sus maestros, a sus mascotas. ¡ Todos los minutos cuentan!

Donation Rewards and Incentives

Each student that registers will receive a digital bookmark download to color and use throughout the read-a-thon. Students will receive one (1) raffle ticket for every 120 minutes read.
