Laps for Leadership is our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year, and we need your help to Go for Gold! Our 16th annual Laps for Leadership fun run is on Thursday, April 28, 2022! Spectators will be allowed to cheer on students at our new run location at the Altona Middle School track behind Eagle Crest. So far this school year ECES has funded $18,000 in field trips, classroom programs, guest speakers, para-professionals teacher appreciation, and much more!

Event Updates
Help us Go for Gold at our Laps for Leadership Fun Run! Our 16th annual Laps for Leadership fun run is on Thursday, April 28, 2022! Our theme this year is the Olympics! Spectators will be allowed to cheer on students at our new run location at the Altona Middle School track behind Eagle Crest. New this year is a special pre-run warm-up provided by our sponsor Ripple Effect Martial Arts! Don’t forget your water bottle. Each student receives a free Laps for Leadership t-shirt on the morning of the run. Students will run with their grade level. Running schedule is posted on our website laps4leadership.com.
Donation Rewards and Incentives
This year, all prizes will be school-wide, as we Go for Gold! Bronze: Reach 50% student registration on Get Movin’ by Friday, April 15. Every student wins a surprise grab bag delivered to the classroom! Silver: Reach 50% student participation in fundraising of any amount by Friday, April 22. All school popsicle party at lunch! Gold: Raise $20,000 to achieve our fundraising goal. The school receives a Recess Glow-Up!!! Every grade level will receive their own huge new assortment of recess equipment, ball pumps and wagons to transport the fun!
