The WRES PTA is stoked about this year’s Beach Bash Fun Run on April 11, 2025. The Fun Run is one of our biggest events of the year and the proceeds allow us to engage our families in supporting WRES students and teachers.
The success of recent Fun Runs has allowed the WRES PTA to purchase new playground equipment, a range of student technology equipment, library books, risers, and sound equipment for the multipurpose room.
Last year, we were able to fund the installation of our new basketball court. We also fund ongoing programs and activities such as our school’s PBIS rewards program, teacher grants, and end-of-year awards.
The WRES PTA understands that promoting health and wellness is more important than ever to our youth, therefore we have chosen a fun run as our major fundraiser for the year.
A Fun Run is a walk-a-thon/run-a-thon kid style. A fun run is not a race or a speed competition. It’s an opportunity for students to have fun while doing something healthy and supporting their school. That makes every student a winner.
