At Lockhurst Elementary, we believe in educating the whole child—and physical education plays a vital role in that mission. PE isn’t just about running laps; it’s about building strong bodies, developing lifelong healthy habits, and fostering social-emotional growth through movement and play.
That’s why we’re excited to launch this year’s Fit-a-thon fundraiser! It’s a fun, school-wide initiative that gets kids moving while raising much-needed funds to keep our PE program strong and sustainable. We’re especially excited to cap off the event with a special PLAY 60 Field Day hosted by the LA Rams—giving our students a memorable and inspiring celebration of all they’ve accomplished.
