We understand the importance of promoting a healthy and educational fundraiser that respects families’ time and supports our schools in a simple, effective way. That’s why the SEPTA Fun Run is designed to be easy, transparent, equitable, and—most of all—fun for everyone involved!
By participating, you’ll be helping raise crucial funds that go directly back into our classrooms through grade-level grants. These funds support:

Donation Rewards and Incentives
Weekly Incentives
Week 1 - October 6th - October 10th - Incentive #1 - Kickoff Prize:
The two classes with the most donations by percentage by 10pm on Thursday, October 9th will be awarded a kickball game on the outdoor field (Oak Ridge) or extra playground time (Forestdale)!
Week 2 - October 13th - October 17th - Incentive #2 - Popsicle Picnic Party
The two classes that collectively raise the most donations by percentage this week will be awarded lunch outside with a popsicle party!
Week 3 - October 20th - October 24th - Incentive #3 - Donor Leader
The person in each grade who has the greatest NUMBER of individual donors (no matter the donation amount) by 10PM on Thursday will get to lead their grade in Follow the Leader during the Fun Run.
Week 4 - October 26th - October 31st - Grand Prize Incentive - Movie Madness Grand Prize:
The grade that raises the most money (by percentage) by 10pm on Thursday will win a Movie Day.
Schoolwide Incentives:
Schoolwide Incentive #1: Race to Recess - If we reach $45k in collective donations the entire school will receive 10 extra minutes of recess!
Schoolwide Incentive #2: Rock the Lunchroom - If we reach $60k in collective donations the entire school will have music played in the cafeteria for lunch!
Schoolwide Incentive #3: Mystery Prize - If we reach our goal of $90k by race day it will unlock a school wide mystery prize to be revealed on race day!
