Lubbock-Cooper Central Elementary
At Central Elementary we believe in our community - not just the students, staff and teachers, but also the families who support us all! This community greatly benefits from the work of the PTO, whether it be through special events, community outreach or teacher appreciation. Thank you for your donation! With your help we can positively make an impact!
The Central Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) holds one fundraiser each year which allows us to organize our needs for the upcoming school year, directly benefitting our school through:
- Teacher Appreciation
- Teacher Grants
- Communities in Schools (CIS): Pirate Pantry & Angel Tree
- Fall Festival
- Book Fair
- Father-Daughter Dance
- Mother-Son Kickball
- Fun Day
- Student Needs (for example: a pair of glasses, extra snacks, change of clothes)
All of our events are hosted free-of-charge thanks to these donations!
During the 2024-25 school year the PTO has helped jumpstart the school garden, purchased books for the district-wide Battle of the Books and musical instruments for the Music Room, and provided Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes to Central families in need. We have also provided 2 books for every student - one in the Fall and one in the Spring.
