Parkwood-Upjohn Elementary School
Panther Prowl is our biggest fall fundraiser! On Friday, October 10, the entire school will walk a mile route through the neighborhood and cross the finish line near Crane Park. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to stay active, promote healthy lifestyles, and give back to our school.
Every donation counts! Remember, all funds raised go directly towards enriching our students' experiences, by:
- covering the cost of busing and field trips for all grade levels!
- Parkwood is the only school that cover all 5th Grade families' out of pocket expenses for overnight camp at Sherman Lake (a nearly $300 per student cost)
- helping purchase gym equipment
- and other fun events throughout the year!

Event Updates
Classroom challenge for week 3: The Class that has received the most donations from out of state by Sunday at midnight will win a popsicle party!
Classroom challenge for week 2: The Class with the highest number of shares (online, text, and email) of student's fundraising web pages by Sunday at midnight will win a popsicle party!
Classroom challenge for week 1: The Class with the highest number of students registered online (no donation necessary) will win a popsicle party! Congrats to Ms. Guillen's class for winning with 73% of her class registered online.
Donation Rewards and Incentives
School-Wide Incentives: We will celebrate our success school-wide every step of the way. Principal Rosecrans will send an email out noting which day we will earn our reward. Also watch this page for updates!

$1,000: Hat Day - Everyone can wear a hat to school - earned. Hat Day is scheduled for Friday, Sept 26.

$2,500: Pajama Day - Everyone can wear pajamas to school - earned. Pajama Day is scheduled for Monday, Sept 29.

$5,000:Bring a Stuffed Animal to School- Celebrate with a stuffed friend. Stuffed animal day is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct 1.

$7,500: Teachers in Inflatables - Teachers greet you in costume at drop off. Don't be late Friday morning, Oct 3 and miss the teachers dressed up in inflatables!

$10,000: Extra Recess - All students get to enjoy some extra recess. Scheduled for Monday, Oct 6.

$15,000: Wig Day for Teachers - Teachers and Staff can wear wigs for the day. Scheduled for Wednesday, Oct 8.

$20,000:Afternoon Movie - Everyone will watch a movie in the afternoon. Scheduled for Friday, Oct 10 after Panther Prowl.
