Welby Way Charter Elementary School and Gifted Abilities Magnet
Every year during Fitness Week at Welby Way students get involved in fun physical activities, while also raising money for the Physical Education program, equipment and coaches that work with our kids on a regular basis. Fitness week fundraising helps to directly pay for our PE coaches. Within LAUSD multiple schools usually share PE coaches and teachers are expected to lead and conduct PE for their individual classes. The PE and Psychomotor programs at Welby, keep our kids active and involved, and are a great part of the curriculum that our amazing school offers. We count on monies raised during fitness week to pay for these fabulous programs at Welby. OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL THIS YEAR IS $50,000!!!
