Where Does the Money Go?
Bear Run is a partnership between Schwarzkopf Elementary School and the Schwarzkopf Elementary PTA, with all funds raised shared equally to support our Bears.
The School's Share
Schwarzkopf Elementary plans to use Bear Run funds to support student learning, safety, classrooms, and shared spaces, including:

New foldout bench/tables for the Multi-Purpose Room

An AED and other safety needs
-
Reflex and other instructional resources
-
Classroom supplies and technology
-
Teacher incentives and appreciation
-
Emerging classroom and school needs throughout the year
The PTA's Share
The PTA will focus primarily on Specials (art, music, PE), student wellness, school-wide experiences, and continuing programs our students already love.
Bear Run will help provide:

Art: printmaking, digital art, 3D printing, painting, and new creative materials

Music: xylophones, glockenspiels, drums, and performance resources
-
PE: new activities and equipment, including Box Hockey
-
Guidance & Wellness: calming spaces, regulation tools, and social-emotional learning resources

School-wide enrichment: on-campus field trips, science experiences, a visiting authors from Justin Colon, performances, and other special events
Specific purchases will depend on funds raised and the opportunities that can make the greatest impact for students.
