The 4th Annual “Blast off to Reading” Thorp Read-a-thon is coming this September with a goal for students to raise $40,000 and read 100,000 minutes.
This year, every minute read and every dollar raised goes toward meaningful improvements right here at Thorp: air conditioning for the gym, auditorium, and lunchrooms; exciting guest speakers and assemblies; and restocking our beloved birthday book vending machine so every student has a book to call their own! By supporting this fundraiser, you're not just enhancing a physical space—you're nurturing literacy, imagination, and a lifelong love of learning that will benefit our children for years to come.
