Early Registration Prizes: Any student who register and log any reading minutes or raise any funds will be entered into a raffle contest! Over 30 additional prizes! Winners will be drawn on 9/18, 9/21, 9/22 and 9/23!
Top Fundraisers in each grade will receive:
- Kindergarten top fundraiser will receive all lower-level prizes plus an exciting toy and game basket!
- 1st grade top fundraiser will receive all lower-level prizes plus an exciting toy and game basket and four tickets to the Cernan Earth & Space Center.
- 2nd grade top fundraiser will receive all lower-level prizes plus an exciting toy and game basket and four tickets to the Cernan Earth & Space Center.
- K-2 Cluster top fundraiser will receive all lower-level prizes plus a $100 gift card to Chicago Children's Theater.
- 3rd grade top fundraiser will receive all lower-level prizes plus two tickets to Medieval Times!
- 4th grade top fundraiser will receive all lower-level prizes plus a basket of games from Taco Cat Games!
- 5th grade top fundraiser will receive all lower-level prizes plus passes to visit Sloomoo Institute!
- 3-5 Cluster top fundraiser will receive all lower-level prizes plus a $100 gift card to the Museum of Illusions!
- 6th grade top fundraiser will receive all lower-level prizes plus a $100 gift card to Schoolhouse Kitchen + Studio!
- 7th grade top fundraiser will receive all lower-level prizes plus a Culver’s Prize Pack including a Curdie squishie, gift card and more!
- 8th grade top fundraiser will receive all lower-level prizes plus a gift card snack pack including gift cards from Dunkin, KFC, Ciao Ciao Gelato, Chipotle and more!
- 6-8 Cluster top fundraiser will receive all lower-level prizes plus a $100 gift card to the Museum of Illusions!
Top Overall Fundraiser at Thorp will receive all lower-level prizes PLUS an evening at Thorp! The winning child and 4 friends will get an after-hours experience filled with dinner and your choice of activities such as open gym, movie night, karaoke, chocolate fountain, hide-and-seek, and more!
Top Reader in each grade will receive a $50 gift card (Barnes & Noble, City Lit, or Howling Pages), a Storywalk feature, a bonus vending machine coin, and a library "coffee shop" celebration with hot cocoa and treats!
Reading Challenges: Complete your Space Passport with all the literacy challenge stamps and receive a Thorp shoe charm!
